Zaam Real Estate Operations Accounting Analyst

Job Summary:
Responsible for asset on-boarding, asset values assurance, communicating with balance sheet investors on performance, as well as acquisitions and disposals. Maintain complete and accurate Real Estate accounting records. Provide ZAAM Real Estate clients with institutional grade Real Estate performance through operational and reporting excellence. Perform core operations and finance functions related to the North American Real Estate investment portfolio. Ensure Group Real Estate governance standards and processes are applied to the North American Real Estate investment portfolio as required. Service the needs of Zurich affiliate or third party Real Estate Investors. Apply consistent and clear governance standards and processes at the portfolio and legal entity levels. Manipulate large and complex data sets, perform analysis and present insights.
 
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Economics or Finance or Sciences or Investments and 2 or more years of experience in the Operations or Real Estate Performance Analysis and Financial Reporting area
• Experience with Yardi or other Real Estate portfolio management/accounting software
Preferred Qualifications:
• In depth understanding of Yardi software
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Visual Basic or Python
• Insurance industry experience
• Property management experience
• Real estate accounting experience
