- Certificate from a technical school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Ability to operate hand tools (drills, drivers, etc.) and basic shop tools (press, mill, lathe, etc.)
- Maintain an effective working pace to help the team complete projects on-time
- Ability to stay flexible and easily redirect efforts in a fast-paced R&D environment
- Hands-on fabrication and troubleshooting of assembly processes and test stands
- Ability to contribute to problem-solving for product and prototype manufacturing
- Detailed note-taking of assembly steps and testing records
- Experience with combustion and plasma systems
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software
- Experience with soldering, brazing, and welding
- Experience with machining processes, including milling, turning, CNC machining, and precision measurement techniques
- Familiar with data acquisition and analysis
- Proficiency in PLC programming, LabView, Arduino, or similar
