Quality Engineer Technician

What will I do?

• Assist Quality Manager with providing quality and technical guidance across the organization
• Implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams
• Ensure that corrective actions are completed and documented
• Track changes to existing documents using Document Change Request (DCR) paperwork
• Assist in creating document updates/training schedule and follow up
• Calibration of internal and externally calibrated equipment
• Ensure that processes and policies adhere to ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Assist with continuous improvement projects and data analysis
• Conduct root cause investigations of customer complaints

Job Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
• Experience in industrial/shop environment strongly desired
• Continuous Improvement experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma or statistics experience desired
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings required
• Must possess a high degree of mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 standards desired
• Organized along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Growth oriented mindset with a focus on safety and seeing things through to completion
• Ability to maintain confidential information with high degree of integrity, professionalism and discretion
