Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Ideal candidate will possess a minimum 5 years of experience preparing AutoCAD design drawings in Auto Cad or Revit MEP for municipal, commercial, and industrial facilities. A thorough understanding of Auto Cad or Revit MEP is required. Experience with HVAC, Fire and Alarm Systems, plumbing riser diagrams, electrical single line diagrams and electrical power plans is a plus. The candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills that will enable them to communicate with engineering design staff as well as generate the proper Drawing notations.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Develop 2D and 3D Auto Cad Civil 3D 2014 civil and site construction documentation.
• Work with manager and design staff to generate plans; section and details based on design discussions.
• Manage drawing sets.
• Assist with development of as-built drawings by performing field measurements.
• Work includes updates and corrections to MEP drawings of HVAC, Fire and Alarm Systems, Electrical and Piping.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
• Experienced in Auto Cad Civil 3D 2014.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP; Microstation and Revit is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Capable of multitasking.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two year technical or associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Construction Technology.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use.
