As a key member of the Global MarketingRare Disease team, the Sr. Associate Budget Coordinator position provides support for the Rare Disease team and is a strategic partner with the brand teams, cross functional Business Units and Finance, to ensure timely and accurate budget management and compliance. This position will be responsible for helping to coordinate and manage the purchase orders that are opened across the Rare Disease teams. .
Manage a consolidated expense budget for the Rare Disease team to reach targeted spend levels
Proactively alert Rare Disease leads of potential budgetary issues and propose appropriate solutions
Devise and maintain quarterly budget management cadence including expense forecast planning reviews and readouts with Rare Disease leadership team
Oversee new purchase orders (through new processes)
Solve invoice issues in SAP
Regularly update Rare Disease Financial Reports, providing transparency across brands of expenses vs. plan against historical trends
Reconcile and partner with Rare Disease Lleads and Finance to submit accurate consolidated quarterly LE expense forecasts
Manage quarter-end close activity –accruals, expense re-classifications, prepaid invoices, and transfers
Ad-hoc budget-related analyses: quarter-end accrual analysis, variance analysis, management reporting
Train Rare Disease staff on budget management system and chart the course for process improvement
Train, support and guide Rare Disease budget stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of budget and/or project management experience
Or
Associate’s degree and 6 years of budget and/or project management experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of budget and/or project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience using Excel
SAP, C3, MyBuy and Ariba experience
3+ years working closely with marketing, finance, healthcare company or related industry experience
Experience defining budget goals and objectives with key internal clients, establishing, communicating and managing teams to timelines and financial targets
Experience working with corporate finance, brand marketing teams, regulatory, legal, compliance, vendor management and advertising agencies as client or functional unit lead
Working knowledge of product marketing, advertising, compliance and relevant finance related regulations and corporate compliance standards
Experience critically evaluating process and establishing creative solutions
Skills and familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively present information
