Form of workCorewell Health South is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist Team. Desire individuals who are patient-centered and team-oriented.
The Hospitalist Team provides 24/7 inpatient coverage at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospitals and Corewell Health Hospital, Niles. Block-style schedule with providers rotating seven (7) consecutive days on followed by seven (7) days off. Shifts include working the nocturnist shift in Saint Joseph and noon-midnight in Niles. Epic electronic health record is used for documentation.
Team includes adult medicine Physicians and Advanced Practitioners, including dedicated nocturnists. Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital has a closed, 18-bed ICU and 12-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 intensivist coverage. A variety of sub-specialists available for referrals and collaboration opportunities on patient care.
Corewell Health South, ranked one of the 15 Top Hospitals® in the nation by IBM Watson Health™ in 2019, is a teaching hospital offering residencies in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Dermatology. We also host 3rd and 4th year medical students from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Central Michigan University College of Medicine.
