Position Summary
Conduct Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) exams on behalf of the Department of Defense vendors. Timelines is high priority to ensure Reservists are seen within an appropriate amount of time. Our vendors abide by VA / Government regulations including trainings and documentation of the Reservist examination which you will be required to follow as well.
This is an as-needed WEEKEND position (8-10 hour shifts Sat/Sun). Potential for travel throughout state to weekend RHRP events. All travel expenses covered.
Additional cities include: Jackson, Grayling, Saginaw, Grand Ledge, Harrison Township, Southfield.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality always.
- Keep assessment space tidy, greet servicemember and introduce yourself prior to examination.
- Complete and submit charts/ orders.
- Review medical history provided in provider portal, gather information from the servicemember by performing an assessment, using the required exam template.
- Complete all assigned trainings within an appropriate amount of time prior to deadline.
Work Environment
This job operates in a military facility setting. The role routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses.
Physical Demands
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Education/Qualifications
- Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. For Physicians, must have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Medicine.
- Maintain a valid state license and current AANP/ANCC/NCCPA certification as applicable
- Retain BLS certification.
- Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and basic computer knowledge
We operate in clinic settings. NO HOME VISITS.
