About the role
The Social Worker is an integral part of our mental health treatment team and provides direct therapeutic and casework services to youth up to 16 years old in an open residential juvenile justice program located in Detroit, Michigan. This clinician provides clinical insight, direction, and support, using an evidence-based treatment model. In this role, you will work closely with the young people at Spectrum Child & Family Services Valor Place program.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work and Michigan licensure as a master’s level clinician with either limited or full licensure (LLPC/LPC, LLMSW/LMSW, TLLP/LLP).
- Two years of experience in evaluation, assessment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Must meet successfully complete the background screening process.

Treatment is guided by a developmentally informed conceptualization of each youth’s risks and needs and utilizes a multi-modal and multi-pronged approach to treatment.
