Candidate Profile:
- At least one year experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Available to work full-time
Responsibilities:
- This person will collaborate closely with all assembly personnel, support groups, and assembly management to meet product quality goals, objectives and will at times, assist in quality functions outside of the audit process
- This position will create, maintain, and rotate throughout various quality gates, in the assembly areas, and will therefor require the individual train in multiple areas on the production line
- This person will be proficient with Microsoft Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Supports the production manager/supervisors to drive prevention vs. detection of defects
- Coordinates actions to prevent the occurrences of nonconformities
- Responsible for the maintenance of key performance metrics for the Quality organization
- Verifies and ensures company policies and procedures are followed
- Assists in training of all Standard Operating Procedures and Critical Control Points in the unit
- Be able to read and comprehend checklist inspection points and locate the targeted area for inspection
- Ability to conduct needed inspections in the established takt time
- Identify the correct process owner for a defect and communicate with them
- Verify correction of defects if/when corrected in-station
- Determine next process step for vehicles with defects
- Work from part or tool drawings, engineering specifications, and related
- Make the necessary inspection reports and maintain Quality Control
- Responsible for helping to maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with company
- Assist the production team in assigned continuous improvement activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Experience in Alstar, IFS or other business or quality systems preferred
- Actively involved in and expresses enthusiasm for objectives set by the workplace
