Job Description
Summary
The primary objective of this position is to ensure that all administrative needs for the Quality Assurance department are met, to be able to provide customer service in the form of correct and proper documentation for our sales staff and customers. Position will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Director, QA & Regulatory Affairs, QA Manager, and QA supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Clear purchased products in Oracle System and resolve conflicts in specifications
· Set up and reassign customer item specifications in Oracle
· Develop, modify and post controlled documents and communicate updates to Sales & Customer Service
· Analyze and fulfill customer documentation requests via email or customer portal to proactively address customer documentation needs
· Develop and solidify value added customer relations by forwarding inquiries to the appropriate departments
· Manage product certifications: Non-GMO, kosher and/or halal
· Review and approve supplier documents to support the approved supplier program and plant certifications (BRC, Kosher, Halal, and Organic)
