JOBTITLE: QI and Administrative Specialist
PURPOSEOFTHEPOSITION: To develop and maintain databases, review, and gather quantitative and qualitative data, review data for quality improvement purposes, and support the administrative tasks of the Family Counseling program.
I.SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to
QI Specialist
- Assist program staff to meet Federal, State, and local codes and regulations
- Conduct or oversee Case Record Reviews, aggregating data, analyzing trends, and working collaboratively with program staff regarding follow-up activities and improvements, as required
- Participate in program Incident Review Committee meetings, at least quarterly, and maintain incident tracking
- Facilitate the submission of Outcome Measurement reports: Track key Outcomes and Performance measurements throughout the year, aggregating data, analyzing quarterly and annual trends, and working collaboratively with program staff regarding follow-up activities and improvements
- Develop, maintain, and oversee the data collection and analysis for our evidence-based practice model, Mobility Mentoring, and collaborate with model developers as needed
- Other QI tasks as assigned.
Administrative Tasks
- Data entry for Family Counseling clients
- Create and maintain participant files
- Track program spending in line with program budgets
- Track training attendance in ACS’s Workforce Institute
- Oversee distribution of emergency supplies for Family Counseling Clients
- Provide technical assistance for account maintenance of city and state databases
II. QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required.
- One year's experience in quality improvement/program evaluation and/or administration in not-for-profit settings is preferred.
- Proficient with database and word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with MS Office Suite-Word, Excel, Access-to create and maintain databases, track and analyze information and data, desirable
- Highly organized and able to manage time efficiently
- Detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate accurate data entry skills
- Friendly, highly dependable, and flexible
- Ready to help when asked
- Bilingual: English/Spanish, English/Mandarin, preferred

- Work primarily in an office setting
- Considerable time is spent at a desk using a computer
- May also attend various meetings with different departments
V. SCOPEOFRESPONSIBILITY
The QI and Administrative Specialist employee focuses on synthesizing data to identify target areas for improved outcomes, develop and maintain databases, and support with a variety of administrative tasks
This is a full-time non-exempt position (35 hours per week). Salary range of $42,500 to $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
