Administrative Collection Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Collection Specialist to join our team. As a Administrative Collection Specialist , you will be responsible for contacting customers to collect outstanding payments and reconciling monthly bordereau. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Duties:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding payments while providing excellent customer service. Address customer inquiries or concerns regarding their accounts.

- Monthly bordereau reconciliation – compare data with internal accounting records to identify and resolve any discrepancies for all carriers reports.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies

- Process notice of cancellation and reinstatement letters as needed.

- Process broker of record requests

- Update and maintain accurate documentation in internal database and document management system

- Follow company policies and procedures in regards to collections recovery and policy cancellations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Proven experience related field and working knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external customers
- Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and record keeping
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Skills:
- Calendar management
- File management
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer support best practices

Pay: $25.00 - $28.50 per hour

Expected hours: 70 per week
