You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Utilizing standardized purchasing regulations, policies, and/or business practices to assist in procuring resources; 2) Assisting with procurement duties in various phases such as receipt of purchase request, final delivery, and/or closeout; and 3) Coordinating procurement requirements with employees and/or customers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Utilizing standardized purchasing regulations, policies, and/or business practices to procure resources; 2) Performing procurement duties in various phases such as receipt of purchase request, final delivery, and/or closeout; and 3) Determining the method of procurement including the appropriate clauses and provisions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
