EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
As a Purchasing Agent, your responsibilities will entail performing thorough procurement tasks such as assessing requisitions, creating bid documents, evaluating and granting bids, drafting contracts, and issuing purchase orders. This role will require constant communication with vendors and other personnel. You will be tasked with verifying that all purchases made using the purchasing card adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by established policy and management directives. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
