Public Health Nutrition Specialist (Chicago, Il)

Description: Join our team as a Public Health Nutrition Specialist in Chicago, IL, for an 18-week contract position. Make a difference in community health by providing expert nutrition guidance and support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide counseling to individuals and families.
• Develop and implement nutrition education programs for community groups.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address nutrition-related issues.
• Participate in community outreach activities to promote healthy eating habits.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of nutrition services provided.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in dietetics, foods, and nutrition, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of three years of work experience in Public Health Nutrition.
• Experience with the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) preferred.
