Property Manager

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of residential properties
- Handle tenant inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct property inspections and ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly
- Advertise and market available properties to attract potential tenants
- Screen and select qualified tenants, including conducting background checks and verifying references
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure compliance with rental policies and procedures
- Collect rent payments and manage delinquencies
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and renovations as needed
- Maintain accurate records of property-related transactions, including financial statements and tenant information
- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal laws regarding property management

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to property management
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Experience in facilities management is a plus
- Understanding of fair housing regulations
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes
