Responsibilities for the Property Accountant
- Enter financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Check and balance financial sheets
- Review commissions
- Close the books at the end of each month
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation
- Handle distributions
- Help with special projects and reports as needed
Desired Qualifications for the Property Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 to 5+ years of Accounting experience
- Real Estate experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Fund Accounting
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
