Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU) would be advantageous
Minimum of 5 years’ Experience in insurance, Property & Casualty focused
P&C broker license, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
Strong Excel proficiency (vlook up, pivot tables, managing large data sets) and working knowledge of the MS Office Suite
Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with strong written and verbal communications
Excellent organizational and time management skills; must be a self-starter, proactive, responsive, and resourceful
Must have keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.

We will count on you to:
Collaborate internally and externally to drive business decisions, and improve the client experience throughout the day-to-day services, proposal and renewal process.
Facilitate claims notification, contracts review and audits review, and follow up regarding endorsements, policy issuance, extensions and cancellations, and escalate concerns to direct manager or client team, as appropriate.
Monitor the renewal cycle by ensuring renewal protocol is completed (via tools available), gathering information, tracking quotes, and ensuring documents are issued correctly and on-time in accordance with our professional standards.
Monitor the maintenance of proper records for reporting and audit purposes and processes insurance and claims details into the database
Strengthen and maintain relationships with client and client teams to provide best in class service and drive growth and retention
Respond directly to simple and moderately difficult client questions and requests, and solicit assistance as needed
Ensure all client information is collected, reviewed, updated and communicated to teams for optimal program solutions and pricing
Participate in meetings with client and insurers throughout the renewal cycle as necessary
What can you expect?
You will be expected to go through Marsh on the job training for day-to-day insurance service tasks and renewal cycle as well as learn the interworkings of the client’s risk management team and systems platform.
You will work with a highly acquisitive senior living operator and be expected to organize and manage data for new acquisitions on a regular basis as wella as support the integration efforts with the client risk management team.
In this dual facing role, you will work closely with the Marsh team as well as the client risk management team.
You will be expected to take the lead on tasks including but not limited to gathering exposure data in excel, compiling renewal applications, and creating loss summaries in excel. Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, certificates, and coverage details as well as requesting and administering certificates and auto insurance cards. Coordinate the renewal process for various insurance policies, including property, liability, and other relevant coverages. Manage billing and payment reconciliation, lender/owner requirements, policy review and transmittals, and endorsements tracking and transmittal.
Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for enhancing the program's effectiveness.
Work closely with consultants and actuaries to assess risk exposures and optimize the program structures.
Oversee various programs, ensuring timely processing of claims and adherence to relevant regulations.
Review and analyze insurance claims to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of risk.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and insurance providers to resolve claims efficiently and fairly.
Utilize claims data to assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies.
