Responsibilities
OBXtek is supporting the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, the MIlitary Communication and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (MilComm & PNT) Directorate (SSC/CG) with a broad range of financial management capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, and lifecycle acquisition activities.
This opening is for aProject Management Specialist - Level 2, who will provide financial management knowledge to aid in effective planning, programming, budgeting, and execution for the directorate. Tasks will include performing reconciliation of commitments, obligations, expenditures, and provide budget integration activities to support the Directorate's financial aspects to include international partnership agreements.
The tasks for this position include:
Candidate resumes should demonstrate knowledge with collecting, normalizing, and inputting data, cost modeling, performing research, reconciling complex data/information across multiple systems and reports, utilization of complex software in the development of analytical models, interpreting results to generate multiple recommended courses of action, comprehending and applying concepts/guidance, successful implementation of instructions/policies into routine performance, and developing tools/applications to foster efficiency in day-to-day activities.
Candidate should have at least 2-5 years of combined industry and federal government experience, such as DoD/NASA/NRO or SETA/FFRDC, supporting federal government acquisition and/or space acquisition.
This position is on-site at LA Air Force Base, El Segundo, CA

- Acquisition reporting
- Provide additional support for budgets, foreign military sales funding, other foreign Government funding, and International Partner Agreements, as well as assist with the timely and accurate analysis, forecast and reporting of commitment, obligation, and expenditure data. Acquisition reporting support includes production of financial management related inputs as required by DoD policy for Acquisition Category I, II, III,, middle tier acquisition (MTA) programs.

- Active Secret Clearance required
- Bachelors degree in a related financial field required
- In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an Associate's Degree + 4 years of work experience may be substituted, or an additional 6 years of work experience
- 2-5 years of experience in federal and space acquisition
- Experience and proficiency with cost models (i.e. - ACEIT, USCM, SEER, MS Office, PRICE, SMC/Industry standard models)
