WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Project Engineer position is an entry level position to a career path that could lead to a position in either field operations or project management. This individual is responsible for assisting in project management tasks as assigned by the project team.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Participate in plan reviews
- Review all drawings and specifications
- Upload/download electronic documents
- Coordination of RFI's; posting of record set
- Assist with Daily Reports and Project Photo Documentation
- SWPPP Documentation and Management
- Manage Project SDS documentation and site-specific safety plans
- Understand Subcontracted scopes of work
- Participate in Subcontractor Prep Meetings
- Coordination of Subcontract work in the field
- QA/QC of work in place.
- Help Manage Subcontractor Deliveries and Laydown areas
- Assist superintendent with material procurement, purchasing, PO's and cost coding
- Collect and report cost history data and quantities
- Attend all project and company safety meetings
- Conduct on-site safety orientation meetings for new craft and Subcontractors
- Attend Weekly construction coordination meetings and draft meeting minutes
- Prepare punchlists and completion of punchlist items
- Preparation of final as-builts and close out documents
- Establish relationships with Craft, Subcontractors, Owners and Design Teams
- Attend training and professional development that is relevant to the position
- Attend company-sponsored events
- Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE | SKILLS | ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related degree
- Some Internship, education or field experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Thorough and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints
- Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including Excel

- Prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Position involves standing and walking for extended periods of time while working at the jobsite and occasional lifting of heavy objects and sitting at computers. Employees must be able to communicate effectively in a typical construction site environment with a standard level of noise. Occasional standing, bending, walking, and lifting are also required.
