Are you an organized, detail-oriented communicator who enjoys working under (a healthy amount of) pressure? We have an opportunity for you to join a fast-growing marketing and technology agency located in Valparaiso, serving clients throughout Northwest Indiana and across the country. This project manager / office manager role is a part time position, ranging from 20-25 hours per week.
In this role, you will:
- Create and manage tasks and projects within our project management platform to ensure projects are completed on time. You'll also troubleshoot roadblocks, monitor workloads and backlogs, and work with team members, clients and vendors to adjust assignments and ensure projects are completed on time
- Correspond with clients, vendors and other parties via phone and email in a friendly and professional manner to schedule appointments and give/receive project updates
- Make simple updates to client websites as requested to update images or information
- Assist in keeping client information up-to-date across various platforms, including Google My Business, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Indeed and similar
- Gather performance data from various systems at month end to help the team analyze and make decisions about strategies and tactics for each client
- Prepare and send invoices to clients for work completed, and follow up with overdue accounts to obtain payment
- Compile timecard data, process payroll and complete other administrative functions, including insurance paperwork
- Make occasional pickups from and/or deliveries of printed items and other pieces to clients, vendors and other local partners
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field, or relevant experience
- 1+ years of experience in marketing is a plus but not required
- The ability to work with us in person at our office in Valparaiso. We don't require our team to work in the office at all times, but we do believe the in-person office experience to be an important part of career development, especially for early-career team members
- Excellent organization and detail orientation – you make sure all the t's are crossed and i's are dotted in any project that you're assigned to complete
- Fantastic customer service and communication skills: you take pride in ensuring clients' requests are completed quickly and correctly with a smile
- Good writing skills, plus a great eye for grammar and punctuation
- Familiarity with marketing platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Wordpress, and basic HTML is a plus but not required
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn new systems and platforms, and a passion for learning and continuous improvement
