BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinatorin Indianapolis, IN 46204
Position Title: Project Coordinator - Hybrid
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204
Shift Timing: Mon - Friday 40/Hours Per Week
Anticipated start date: 1- 3 Weeks
Duration: Long term contract and the possibility to be extended the contract.
Pay rate: $46.32 /hr
Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum five years or more of IT project / portfolio coordination experience. Capable of managing a portfolio of stakeholders and vendors of complex IT/software/data modernization efforts at the direction of Sr. Project Management staff.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
IT Project / portfolio coordination capabilities with 5 or more years of experience. Capable of supporting highly complex projects across dozens of staff and geographies to advance INDOT's IT modernization efforts.
Skills:
Experience in complex IT project or portfolio coordination involving multiple stakeholders across multiple business areas and geographies.
Experience managing projects within Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implemention.
Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects.
Ability to support Sr. project team staff to drive projects to success.
Strong organization, communication and presentation skills.
Experience in organizing highly complex and technical information.
Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects as a Jr. Project Manager or Project Coordinator.
Knowledge of multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall.
