Description:

Essential Duties:

· Provide direct support to NSM programs.

· Work in coordination with our field clients via e-mail.

· Direct, organize, and coordinate project equipment shipping activities, under the direction of the Team Lead.

· Perform document management activities associated with equipment, packaging and transportation.

· Perform data entry into the tracking system.

· Track and report on the status of material requisitions and the status of shipments.

· Assist in making required shipping arrangements for project equipment.

· Prepare and process shipping documents.

· Preform inventory and maintain inventory records.

· Process shipping requests for overseas shipments and insure compliance for shipping regulations.

· Prepare reports and spreadsheets for management.

· Occasional domestic trips in the DMV.

· Apply baseline configurations to all network hardware and equipment prior to shipment.

· Inspect, maintain and where necessary replace network cabling and other network-related equipment.

· Administer hardware and software upgrades for network equipment.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma plus five or more years of related experience.

· Possess in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Outlook), and SharePoint.

· Ability to learn new technical skills quickly

· Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

· Experience with IBM Maximo a plus.

· Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Must be able to work independently.

· Must be able to comprehend shipping, processes, procedures, and regulations.

· Experience with Juniper network solutions is highly desirable.

· Working knowledge of network equipment is a plus.
