SAIC has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator to support exciting and important customer activities. The successful candidate will provide leadership and expertise in guiding, managing, and supporting customer operations while protecting sources and methods. The Project Coordinator will act as a primary interface between the customer’s headquarters elements and mission partners/stakeholders and will use their advanced knowledge of operational procedures and policies to coordinate customer activities with those partners and stakeholders. The position involves helping coordinate and track strategic acquisition efforts, coordinating message traffic to and from the customer organization, and generally helping offload routine and non-routine tasks from customer leadership as needed. Attention to detail and a drive to see tasks come to completion is needed.
Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
- At least 9 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree or experience can be substituted for the degree
- Proven ability to organize and juggle activities and tasks, as well as an ability to coordinate with multiple levels of partners/stakeholders in order to ensure such tasks are successfully completed
- Advanced knowledge of customer operational policies and procedures to ensure proper coordination of activities and tasks
- Familiarity with the customer’s secure messaging system and the ability to triage and coordinate responses with appropriate customer leaders and stakeholders
- Proven ability to effectively prepare well-constructed secure messages in a form and function familiar to, and in line with, customer requirements
- Proven ability to assist in resolution of complicated and sometimes contentious issues pertaining to all aspects of customer operations and the associated authorities
- Proven ability to advise and assist customer leadership regarding operational procedures and policies to ensure the customer can maintain compliant and cordial relationships with operational mission partners and stakeholders
- An ability to quickly learn about the efforts in which the customer is engaged to help inform coordination efforts
