Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Working under the direction and supervision of the Regional Manager, and in conjunction with the Regional Construction Manager, the Project Coordinator will be exposed to the various areas of operations within the company. These responsibilities will include shop and warehouse supervision, job planning and setup, administrative paperwork, and customer interaction.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Construction Support for Regional Construction Manager
a) Project Pre-Job Planning and Preparation
i) Assist in setting up job folders and document organization
ii) Load materials, tools, and equipment
iii) Write purchase orders and assist in booking hotels, rental equipment and other job-related items
iv) Deliver materials/supplies to local jobsites
b) Administrative Tasks
i) Time Sheets & Payroll processing
ii) Match POs and process job receipts and AP documents
iii) QC Recordkeeping
2. Shop and Warehouse functions
a) Buildings and Grounds
i) Maintain general orderliness and organization.
ii) Identify and correct routine maintenance items.
b) Equipment and Tools
i) Complete daily and monthly checklists for operational equipment.
ii) Perform tool maintenance and repairs.
iii) Verify stocking quantities of parts and supplies.
c) Warehouse Support & Shop Projects
i) Answer phones and greet visitors
ii) Material sales fulfillment and deliveries.
iii) Assist with Green Slip/Pink Slip processing for jobs
iv) Accept deliveries
v) Assist with Shop construction work.
vi) Inventory verification and counting.
d) Safety
i) Coordinate Employee Training & Recordkeeping
ii) Assist in scheduling medical tests
iii) Maintain inventory of safety supplies
