Job Summary:
Works with individualsparticipatingintheEmpowered!Clean Energyfull scope ofSkilled Tradesprogramming. Coaches, mentors,facilitatesandassistsindividuals to set employment-related goals and address barriers to employment within the scope of the agencys policies, procedures, and budget.SupportsSeniorProgram Managerwithidentifyingavailable resources and employment opportunitiesavailable toassistclients interested in career exploration within the clean energy sector. Helps clientsestablishan Individual Employment Plan (IEP) and follows up to ensure implementation. AssistsProjectManagerand Senior Program Managerwith programdesign,implementationand instructional facilitating ofcurriculum.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes a positive and productive working relationship with individuals from variousbackgrounds,including young adults (ages 18 to30), recently restored citizens and applicants with criminal convictions in their background
- Leads theintake and assessment phases, including ensuring the program participantscooperation with the complete employment-centered case management process
- Maintain contact with participants through weekly appointments and engagement activities to track their progress to interview/job readiness status
- Facilitates the individuals involvement with the creation and implementation of an Individual Employment Plan (IEP), including coaching individuals on meeting career/employment goals, managing expectations, program performance and emerging opportunities
- Inputs andmaintainsaccurateup-to-date individual activity/data into the tracking systemdesignatedby the agency
- Creates andmaintainsindividual files per assigned case load
- Inputs individual activity/data into the OCEAN system
- Facilitates group sessions and workshops to build employment readiness skills
- Distributes attendance stipends and retention incentives to program participants
- Prepares andsubmitsassigned weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Facilitates referrals for individuals to internal and external resources as needed
- Occasional travel off-site to support training or other outreach engagement activities
- Seeks out recruitment opportunities and works with colleagues to build a calendar of recruitment events
- Representsthe Agency at internal and external outreach events and recruiting activities
- Using motivational interviewing andtraumaasappropriate tohelp guide program participants to goal achievement
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Standardworkingenvironment. Requires ability tooperatetelephone and personal computer for periods oftime.Occasional travelto job sites.Requires current drivers license and willingness to transport clients in company vehicleto job sites and educational field trips.

Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- Associatedegree in social workorrelatedfield(Psychology,Sociology,PublicAdministration,etc.)or equivalentknowledge/experience
- Knowledge of industry standards for sustainability and clean jobs,includingsolar energy, wind energy, energy efficiency, combined heat and power, facilities maintenance,etc.
- Mustpossessa valid Ohio Driver's license and/or reliable transportation. Mustcomply withthe agency's insurance carrier standards and policy
- Preferred:
- Experience as awork-readinesscurriculum facilitator
- Certification in specific facilitator training (e.g.FDS, Thinking for a Change,Job Coaching, Resume Writing)
- Experience with NCCER curriculum
- Experience inworking with diverse populations of people
Pay Range: $20-22/hr
