Drives the processes of costing, quoting, APQP, and BOM's, along with the maintenance of the part files and the accuracy of the information within. The coordinator manages information flow between the customer and internal departments and directs the efforts of supporting personnel in achieving the goals set in APQP
RESPONSIBILITES
- Contact customer regarding costing, quoting, samples, APQP in a timely manner
- Generate cost sheets
- Initiate and coordinate sample production
- Generate quotes and supporting documentation
- Communicate customer requirements to other departments accurately and efficiently
- Direct and support efforts of other departments in APQP process
- Document required operations per quality system standards
- Generate and maintain BOM
- Calculate and actuate yearly price concessions
- Manage parts throughout the product life cycle
- All other work assigned

- Positive feedback from customers and the Sales team regarding attitude and helpfulness

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, Associate's Degree and experience acceptable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good organization skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
