Manage and lead in planning, development, budgeting, implementation, and evaluation of precollege science, mathematics, engineering, and technology programs for teachers/students. Provide program leadership in the administration of state and district education partnerships. May be responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.Interact with faculty, staff, students, K-12 state education officials (superintendents, principals, teachers).

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Manage and lead in the planning, development, budgeting, implementation and evaluation of programs and/or state and district education partnerships.
Job Duty 2 -
Hire and supervise program staff and establish positive working relationships and communications with clients, internal and external staff and consultants.
Job Duty 3 -
Develop and assess curriculum according to state and national science, mathematics, and technology standards. Provide professional development for teachers on the content and method of science and math instruction.
Job Duty 4 -
Develop and assist in the development of proposals to external funding sources including private, state, and federal agencies.
Job Duty 5 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Master's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Eight to ten years job related experience

Pay Range Starting At: $69,959.00 up to $95,145.00

This position will direct the CEISMC Expanded Learning Programs Horizons Program at Georgia Tech. The Horizons Program at Georgia Tech includes School Year Programs like the Horizons After School Program and Horizons Family Engagement Events; the Horizons Summer Program; and the AmeriCorps Program that supports Horizons at Georgia Tech.
