Job Summary

This position is a full-time 12-month staff position that will support the Advancing Nursing Education Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Training grant.
The selected candidate will support the goals of the grant through the following activities:
1. Assist with development, teaching, and evaluation of forensic related courses as appropriate based on educational level and experience.
2. Coordinate training activities to include, but not limited to, developing a training calendar, securing resources, preparing agendas, etc.
3. Serve as a liaison between project partners.
4. Establish additional clinical practice partnerships.
5. Work with trainees on clinical and job placement assistance.
6. Program marketing.
7. Other grant related activities as necessary.

Responsibilities

Teaching and Instruction - 40
Teaching responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1.development and oversight of the SANE Didactic courses and the clinical immersion associated with the designated course.
2. Assisting with the development and teaching of a 1-day Clinical Skills Refresher courses as required by grant partners as part of the continuing education part of the grant.
3. Assisting with the development and teaching of a 2-day clinical skills immersion as part of the continuing education portion of the grant.
Coordinating - 10
Coordination of all training activities to include, but not limited to, the development of a training calendar, securing resources, preparing agendas, etc.
Oversight and management of training activities.
Serves as a liaison between project partners (arranging partner meetings, identification of needs etc.)
Program marketing
Establish additional clinical practice partnerships (MOU's).
Records Management - 15
Works directly with the Program Coordinator and the Project Evaluator to maintain records and prepare HRSA reports.
Maintains an Excel spreadsheet to track ANE-SANE project participants and activities.
Reporting - 20
Works directly with the GCSU Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs, the Program Coordinator and the Project Evaluator to access and collate data for HRSA reports and provide data, presentations, and reports as required.
Supervision - 15
Will supervise students and one part-time ANE-SANE employee.
Will works directly with the Project Administrative Assistant on the following:
1. To ensure students enrolling as enrichment students are admitted and registered in a timely manner.
2. Entering and tracking payment requests.
3. Ensure scholarships are awarded and distributed appropriately.
4. Coordinate training activities
5. Communicate with vendors for supplies and standardized patients.
6. Other activities as required

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Nursing is required.
Education and/or clinical experience in Forensic Nursing (SANE specific preferred).
Other Required Qualifications
Excellent communication, group and management skills.
Required Experience
Unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the United States with the ability to obtain a license in the state of Georgia upon appointment.
Clinical experience in Forensic Nursing (SANE specific preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Masters Degree in Nursing is preferred.
SANE - A certification (or SANE-A eligible)
Preferred Experience
Experience with all Microsoft software, Office 365. Willingness to learn University software programs: i.e., Banner, R-25, PeopleSoft Financials, eProcurement, Admin 7, Legato, etc. Strong budgetary planning and technical tracking skills. Knowledge of E*Value, Qualtrics, and DocuSign. Will train the right candidate.
