Focused on solving complex business challenges of enterprise organizations, we provide advanced technology consulting including datacenter, network infrastructure, system infrastructure, unified communications, mobility and security solutions. Our approach includes the entire IT lifecycle--from assessment, design, procurement, installation, optimization to asset disposal and we offer a full range of customized managed services and cloud services.

By leveraging our strategic relationships with leading IT manufacturers and software publishers, Connections Enterprise Solutions is able to provide the right solutions and the best pricing with preferred product availability with our unique MarkIT place portal.

Our Account Executives are supported by:

  • Experienced team of shared Inside Sales Reps and dedicated Customer Support team
  • Highly certified Professional Services team providing technical expertise and consulting through the Assessment, Design, Implementation and Management phases of all technology projects and across the major OEM platforms (including HP, Cisco, VMWare, Dell, IBM and Lenovo).
  • Team of software experts providing a broad range of consulting services around all of the top publishers (including Microsoft, Adobe, VMWare, Intel, Symantec). Provides client and prospect consulting on all licensing issues, deployment, and ROI.

This is a base plus commission role, earnings may vary. Posted salary information is annualized and indicative of first year of employment.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Sales professional with at least 3-5 years of experience successfully selling IT hardware, software and professional services directly to Enterprise Accounts (2000 seats and above).
  • Strong relationships with Fortune 2000 companies, skills in developing new relationships with customers and the ability to understand client business issues and needs.
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of achieving consistently strong sales numbers within these accounts.
  • Extremely self-motivated and driven by rich, highly leveraged compensation plans.
  • Have prior, recent and relevant experience selling IT products at a competitor solution provider or VAR.
  • Knowledgeable on major strategic OEM solutions with understanding of current technologies.
  • Able to leverage strong existing relationships with local OEM field sales teams of strategic suppliers such as HP, Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare, Dell, Lenovo and IBM. Ideally has an understanding of their market strategy, mapping and territories and incentive and marketing programs.
  • Able to think strategically and leverage resources.
  • Able to present, communicate and sell effectively to senior level executives.
