Form of workGreat opportunity with a midtown NYC based apparel company. We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Production Coordinator to join our production team. We are interviewing candidates with experience in kidswear, menswear, girls, juniors, and / or ladies.
Responsibilities
- Daily communication with overseas agents & factories to maintain & coordinate production flow, issue overseas' POs, keep track of order placements, follow up on approval due dates & deliveries, willing to resolve problems and issues as they arise, etc.
- Oversee and keep production on schedule
- Adhere to different procedures and requirements of each retail customer accounts & able to process & understand tech packs & spec sheets as needed
- Send comments for all Lab Dips, Fits, Approvals, etc.
- Monitor day to day details on orders
- Review all documents, invoices, packing lists to ensure accuracy
- Tracking and maintaining incoming and outgoing packages
Skills & Qualifications
- 5-10+ years in experience in apparel production
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a must
- Very detail oriented individual
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a motivated self-starter & team player
