OVERVIEW
HERA Fine Jewelry is seeking a full‐time Production Coordinator. The Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in the daily management of the jewelry production process. Reporting directly to the Senior Production Manager, you will assist in correspondence, order management, quality control checks, and maintaining positive relationships with our network of jewelers and vendors. The Production Coordinator position is vital to ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our clients at Hera.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in daily management of the production process (ex. email correspondence with clients regarding all aspects of production, order updates, delivery accelerations/delays, etc.)
- Responsible for creating and entering new orders onto the weekly order spreadsheet for each vendor
- Responsible for entering order information into the project management Software (Asana) and updating order completion timelines
- Serves as direct support to Senior Production Manager
- Assist the Production Manager and travel to manufacturers to perform quality control checks on all new pieces and repairs, both from a design and structural perspective
- Communicate with Production Manager any upcoming deadlines and keep manufacturers up to date on deadlines and rush orders
- Maintain positive relationships with Hera’s existing and potential network of jewelers and vendors
- Meet all deadlines associated with development, ranging from pre-production samples, collection pieces, to custom orders
- Assist Production Manager and production team with any time sensitive issues
- Ship out ring sizers within 2 business days of request, with a handwritten note
- Ship out ring orders at least once a week, with a handwritten note and all packaging required
- Send final invoices to custom and bespoke clients, ensuring all costs are paid and accounted for before shipment
- Quality check rings before shipment
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time-management from organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.

- Knowledge in the care required in handling luxury/high value goods

- Interest in fine jewelry and design
- Strong preference for candidates who have 2-3 years of jewelry production experience
LOCATION
This position is NYC-based. You can live anywhere within commuting distance, but need to be able to travel to the Greenpoint showroom, FedEx, and varying manufacturers in different boroughs on a regular basis.
COMPENSATION
This is a full-timenon-exempt/hourly position. Wages are $32/hr.
Benefits include health and dental insurance covered at 85% by the company, employer-matched 401K plan, paid vacation and sick days (18 vacation, 10 paid sick, and paid holidays off for full time employees), and a transparent, friendly and supportive working environment.
