SUMMARY This position includes data entry and Manufacturing order completion of departmental production information; auditing and filing of production records; projects and investigation related to Packaging.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Creates, modifies and completes production Mfg. orders using M3 an (enterprise resource planning) system.
Assists departmental supervisors and other system users as to proper procedures in M3
Monitors daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Reviews Mfg. orders for accuracy and completeness.
Inputs production data provided by departmental supervisors in an accurate and timely fashion.
Performs daily audits of all finished goods.
Investigates discrepancies between perpetual and physical inventory.
Reconciles physical inventories; researches and resolves negative inventory balances.
Performs cycle counts.
Performs data entry functions.
Generates reports utilizing current software and computer systems.
All other duties as requested by the Packaging Manager.
Inherent in each position is a general duty to maintain each respective work area in a safe and sanitary condition. Regular, predictable, full-time attendance is required as an essential function of this position. The employee may be required to perform other such duties within the scope of their employment as may be assigned. The employee must also possess the ability to take direction, follow instructions, work with others, follow work rules and schedules, and focus on details.
Primary tools utilized are computer requiring specific vocational training or experience in the operation of PC type "networked" computer applications. Individual should be comfortable working in a warehouse environment; be able to work independently, with limited supervision; perform work in a timely and accurate fashion; have acceptable data entry/processing skills and exposure to inventory control application software; have strong reasoning skills.
Knowledge of ERP, WMS, MRP, and MS Office is desirable.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities exist in this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two (2) years to four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An equivalency of education could possibly fulfill formal degree requirement.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

In the process of investigating inventory issues, individual will need to walk all areas of the plant and finished good warehouse to locate product; and, on occasion move individual items to ascertain quantities; climb approved ladders to inspect product stored at high level racks.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Individuals will be investigating inventory issues throughout the plant and therefore will be exposed to noise and equipment associated with those areas.
