We are looking for you to join our team as a Pricing Analyst based out of Charlottesville, VA.
This position may be staffed as a hybrid role from the Charlottesville, VA area, meaning that the candidate must be willing to come into the office at least 3 days a week. Tues, Wed and Thursday's)
What You'll Get to Do:
The Pricing Analyst will become part of the sector Subcontract Price Cost Analysis (SPCA) group and will be responsible for the completion of required subcontractor cost analyses, supporting both Mission Systems proposal activity and subcontract negotiations for purchase order execution. This position will work closely with Pricing and Estimating, Global Supply Chain, Program Management office, and DCMA.
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for completion of supplier proposal compliance review and the comprehensive review of all elements of cost including direct labor, material, ODC, and indirect costs to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Northrop Grumman procedures.
The Pricing Analyst will employ industry techniques / practices for data analysis, and to conduct fact-finding to establish fair and reasonable cost analysis positions and supplier negotiation ranges.
The Pricing Analyst will also facilitate/collaboration/partnership with Contracts, Pricing, GSC and the program relative to SPCA organization on matters relating to cost analysis policies and procedures, FAR regulations, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum 3 years of related experience or Masters degree and a minimum of 1 years of related experience
- Will consider 5years of applied related experience in lieu of degree requirement.
- Experience reviewing, developing, or interpreting proposals
- Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
- Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis.
- Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.
- Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
- Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.
- Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
- US citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of cost accounting practices, DFARS and FAR. (preferred)
- Basic understanding of subcontract cost analysis requirements, tools and techniques (preferred)
