Senior Pricing Analyst - Alexandria, VA

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pricing Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in our pricing strategy, analysis, and modeling efforts, particularly for professional services contracts related to State/Local, Commercial, and Federal programs. Your expertise in financial analysis, pricing methodologies, and knowledge of federal program pricing will be influential in developing competitive and profitable pricing strategies. A successful candidate will have a strong background in pricing analysis, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of federal program pricing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include:.

• Develop cost buildups, detailed pricing models, analyses and exhibits designed to provide compliant and responsive proposal responses using Microsoft Excel expertise.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier price/cost proposals, analyzing the contractors past performance, cost of similar procurements, standards or other quantitative techniques in producing like or similar items
• Lead cost/price proposal strategy, planning, and volume preparation in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop pricing strategies that align with business unit objectives and corporate goals.
• Apply knowledge of State/Local, Commercial, and Federal programs pricing regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and develop pricing structures for professional services contracts.
• Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis by evaluating historical data, market trends, competitor pricing, and other relevant factors to determine optimal pricing strategies
• Develop and maintain financial models to simulate pricing scenarios, assess profitability, and support pricing decision-making processes.
• Prepare and present pricing proposals ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with legal and contracts teams to review and analyze pricing provisions in contracts, identifying potential risks, and providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance pricing processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Travel required (if applicable).

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Complete all required compliance training on an annual basis.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Federal Program Pricing regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements.
• Solid understanding of pricing approaches, such as T&M, cost-plus, fixed-price and multiple element arrangement.
• Familiarity with professional services contracts, project-based pricing, and contract terms and conditions is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data accurately.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey pricing concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about pricing opportunities and risks.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field MBA or Master's in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 5-8 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related role, preferably with experience in State/Local, Commercial, and Federal programs pricing for professional services contracts
• Strong knowledge Federal Program Pricing regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements.
