Overview:
- Prepare Cost/Price Proposals in the Federal Marketplace, including cost narrative and financial spreadsheets. Act as liaison for cost proposal-related matters between Chenega Business Unit staff, Chenega subsidiaries, Proposal Managers, Service Center staff, and prime and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive, customized pricing models for Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), Labor Hour (LH), and various Cost-Plus contract types.
- Compose cost/pricing narratives that clearly describe all elements and assumptions.
- Research, compile, analyze, and document information and data required to produce basis of estimate (BOE)
- Develop and communicate estimating requirements in the proposal planning and scheduling process.
- Support pricing for contract modifications and other post-award actions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and Chenega Corporation’s Cost Estimating System and ISO 9001 procedures.
- Ensure updates of relevant financial factors, inflation rates, and financial algorithms within estimating tools.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 6 years of Government contract pricing experience or related Government pricing audit/compliance experience
- Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Knowledge FAR, DFARs, Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS), and other Government-related applicable standards and laws
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, dynamic workplace.
- Ability to adapt to shifting proposal requirements and evolving customer guidance.
- Ability to prioritize projects; organize and schedule tasks/objectives and determine realistic action plans.
- Ability to collaborate and provide analysis data in real-time scenarios.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solutions.
- Ability to write clearly and informatively, present numerical data effectively, and interpret written instructions, regulations, and spreadsheet formulas.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; Ability to create, implement, and verify expert-level formulas in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
