We are a young organization looking for dedicated members who would like to take the opportunity and bring their own ideas into growing the company. As a cook you will be given every opportunity to grow with us and take on increasing responsibilities, with corresponding remuneration.

*** Please note: For the moment this position is going to be required only on weekends - 8am - 9pm***

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items according to the recipe or instructions provided (Sandwiches, Bagels, Pizza, Salads)
• Handles, stores, and rotates all food and products properly.
• Prepares ingredients for recipes.
• Ensures the cleanliness of all cookware. Carefully washes by hand, and thoroughly cleans all service ware, cookware and utensils.
• Helps maintain safety in the kitchen by clearing spills promptly, keeping all kitchen equipment, oven vents, all floor, wall, and cook surfaces, thoroughly clean. Empties, washes, and returns trash bins over ¾ full. Keeps the wash area organized.

Requirements

• Prior cooking experience is required.
• A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
• Focus on quality and takes pride in work
• The ability to communicate effectively in Basic English is required.
• Careful dishware handling and floor maintenance is expected. This position requires continuous standing, full mobility, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
