We are currently seeking a Practice Manager to join our Central Austin team.
Practice Managers collaborate with Physicians and staff to run efficient offices where patient care is the top priority. The person in this role works directly with patients and coordinates with staff to ensure a pleasant, smooth experience. This person also collaborates with other division Practice Managers and represents the Central division when working with corporate functions such as Operations, HR, Accounting, Marketing and IT.
Administrative duties such as staff scheduling, payroll administration and performance management are a part of this role. Addressing escalated patient and employee issues and providing follow up when needed, is expected. Practice Managers participate in the selection of new employees and conduct new employee training. Practice Managers are also expected to coach employees to acceptable or improved performance.
Successful candidates will be problem solvers with a proactive, can-do attitude. We are looking for candidates that understand the importance of each office function and are willing to perform any of them if needed. Prior medical office experience along with experience in a team lead or supervisory-type role is required. We prefer candidates with a Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or other related field. Occasional travel between locations is required.
