JOB SUMMARY: Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company’s quality standards.
MINIMUM JOB DESCRIPTION REQUIEMENTS:
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiar with the plastic industry. Preferably prior quality experience
- Performs functions of rework inspection as directed by Quality Manager
- Read and address daily documentation from items on hold
- Notify manufacturing and quality when defective product is detected
- Maintain flexibility to work overtime when required, on minimum notice.
- Perform receiving or final audit inspection duties if needed or directed to
- Assist in the training of Production Personnel and/or others as directed
- Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Policies. Procedures and Work Instructions. This includes Visual Aids.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 30 pounds on a daily basis
- Must be willing to train to be able to cover for quality inspectors
- Assist Quality Manager in all areas as needed or directed.
- Complete Certificate of Analysis forms when needed
