Personal Assistant- Placement Position

Pepper’s Personal Assistantsis recruiting for a Household Assistant who can be referred for placement in a client's private home.

HOURS OF WORK: 30-40 hours per week. Flexible Monday-Friday.

COMPENSATION PER HOUR / BENEFITS:

• W-2 employee
• Pay range $24-26/hr (depending on related professional experience)
• Paid time off
• Paid sick leave
• Major Holidays off.

START DATE: January 2024

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are hiring to place a Household Assistant for a busy family of four in Olympia who is in search of someone to assist with childcare and household tasks. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, organized, professional, and communicative to work alongside both parents.

Types of tasks can include but are not limited to:

• Assist with picking up the kids, taking them to activities and keeping them on task with daily responsibilities
• Chores including laundry, dishes, tidying and changing bed linens
• Home organization and systems
• Errands including picking up groceries, prescriptions, dry cleaning, etc.
• Meal prep
• Calendar management and appointment bookings
• Some pet care for the family cats
• Assist with special projects / vendors / household management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced in running and maintaining a household
• Driven by caring for others and helping them succeed
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organized and efficient
• Trustworthy and can be counted on to safeguard confidentiality
• Balanced and not easily overwhelmed with competing demands
• Resourceful and a quick learner
• Adept at coordinating multiple efforts simultaneously
• Delight in anticipating needs
• Coachable – welcome and able to receive feedback with ease
• Always looking for ways to make improvements
• Excel at follow-through
• Great attention to detail
• Comfortable working with children ages 6 & 7
• Able to pick up new technology quickly and intuitively
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
