Personal Family Assistant

Overview:
We are urgently seeking a reliable and dedicated Personal Family Assistant to provide support to our busy household. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily lives. The ideal candidate has family values, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and with minimal oversight once the candidate has a good understanding of the role and the family's needs.

Duties:
- Act as a point of contact for other staff members and contractors, such as housekeeper, landscapers, etc.

- Drive children to and from school, and to after school activities /appointments
- Maintain family schedules, i.e. scheduling appointments, and ensuring family members and pets are on time to said appointments
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Run errands as needed
- Handle correspondence and maintain records. Light bookkeeping to track some family expenses.

- Expected to house sit when parents and/or children are away from the home, which will be scheduled and approved in advance.

Required Qualifications Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare or nannying is required. Bonus if experience is with working with young teenagers.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must have personal, reliable transportation
- Flexible, can-do attitude
- Must be comfortable around water and swimming, and comfortable with cats, dogs, chickens, and house sitting / pet sitting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

- Bookkeeping knowledge

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
