What you’ll be doing:
This is by no means a “behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.
The position of Payroll Specialist must be familiar with comprehensive, multi-state payroll processes and applicable laws and regulations with the ability to research, analyze, and resolve payroll related inquiries and issues from all levels of the Company. At the direction of the Payroll Manager, this position is responsible for running the day-to-day payroll administration for all company locations and ensuring the processing and accuracy of multi-state, high-volume, bi-weekly payroll; providing audit support for payroll, benefits, and HR; performing data entry; and maintaining and updating employee records. The Specialist will also provide customer service to employees and managers with inquiries varying in complexity. Exemplary attention to detail and a willingness to learn and improve processes required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist team in processing bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls; provides support to research and resolve payroll, accrual, and timecard issues; provides first-line teammate support on day-to-day payroll administration and needs.
• Assist with internal and external audits of the financial statements, AP reconciliation, Benefit deductions, and 401k
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of direct payroll processing in high-volume, multi-state environment
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite and Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)
• Rigorous attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and follow-up skills and a high sense of urgency for deadlines
• Team player with excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills; possess professional integrity and accountability
• Approachable and responsive to a variety of people and issues; self-starter; able to work independently and manage an unpredictable workload and interruptions
• UKG Dimensions experience preferred

The range provided is for Colorado-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $25 - $35 an hour
