Glades Talent is working with a manufacturing company with an immediate need for an experienced and bilingual (Spanish)Payroll Coordinator.
Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
Position Reports To: Director, Human Resources
FSLA Status: Exempt
Position Summary: Perform a variety of payroll related duties and other administrative support functions in accordance with established policies and procedures, including but not limited to data entry, compilation of payroll information, preparation and dissemination of reports, and records maintenance. Maintaining the confidentiality of employee and company matters is absolutely essential in this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Weekly preparation of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, taxes, and other related liabilities
· Payment of employees by directing the issuance of electronic transfers to individual bank accounts or by other means as required
· Timely processing of new direct hires, contract workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations
· Interaction with employees while maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations
· Maintenance of payroll systems to ensure proper reflection of employee base, wages, sick and vacation time, and other benefits
· Regular preparation of relevant reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for both internal and external use
· Maintenance of payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
· Supporting all internal and external audits related to payroll
· Assist Human Resource with designated duties
Position Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience with multi-state payroll
- In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculations and processing
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal rules and laws
- Working experience of payroll taxes at the federal, state, and local levels
Special Skills:
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Proficient at MS Office (specifically Excel)

Specific Payroll Duties
Weekly
- Process and pay weekly payroll taxes
- Process payroll for the previous work week
- Process garnishments
- Update Hours/Dollars Report for management
- Process HSA contributions
- Process Direct Deposit
- Reconcile staffing agency invoices
- Update vacation in payroll system and on spreadsheet
- Assist Human Resource with designated duties
Monthly
· Process and pay Arkansas state tax
· Assist Human Resource with designated duties
Quarterly
· Process and pay all quarterly taxes
· Assist Human Resource with designated duties
Annually
· Process all W-2 forms for year end
· File and pay all required annual tax returns
· Calculate company vehicle benefit for Executives
· File PCORI for ACA requirements
· File SSA report
· Create attendance controllers for all salary employees – give to managers to track
· Assist Human Resource with designated duties
