Our Payroll Clerk will have the aptitude for figures and problem solving. They will help us deliver outstand Payroll Services to our Small and Medium size Business clients processing their payroll. Understanding the ultimate goal and importance of paying employees timely and correctly.

Hybrid - Remote & In Office
- 2 day's - Remote able to work from home
- 3 days at our office in Evanston, IL 60202
- Flexible Schedule - Start time is Flexible - between 7am and 9am
Essentials for Success:
- 1+ years of experience in processing payroll - Payroll knowledge required
- General knowledge of the end-to-end Payroll process
- Knowledge of payroll rules and regulations
- Act as liaison in regards to escalated payroll inquiries. Providing quality customer service using established guidelines and tools.
- Self-motivated and independent problem-solving ability. Identifies, understands, and escalates problems as they arise, seeking support as necessary.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and the ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Comfortable in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for the collection, accurate processing, data integrity, control and audit of data processed between various Payroll related systems
- Provides ongoing payroll customer service support to current and former employees, field, and corporate management, through verbal and email communications in a payroll team environment
- Processes payroll for various pay groups on a weekly and/or bi-weekly schedule
- Runs interfaces from Paycor
- Responds to payroll questions via phone/email and is responsible for issue resolution with a high degree of service, accuracy, and professionalism
- Interfaces with management, employees, and other Payroll team members
- Identifies, suggests, and implements ongoing process improvements
- Performs additional tasks as assigned
