Position Overview: We are seeking a Part-Time Payroll Coordinator to assist in managing our payroll processes efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. This position is part-time, requiring 3-5 hours of work per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly/monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime based on hours worked and pay rates.
- Maintain accurate records of employee hours, wages, and tax withholdings.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and ensure compliance.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports for management review.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and adhere to data protection regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in payroll processing or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and procedures.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Education:
