Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Pay: $21/hr
Schedule: 9a-3p Monday - Thursday
Location: DFW Airport area
Position Summary: The Payroll Clerk handles all payroll-related functions of the organization. This includes processing payroll, taxation forms, and benefits, handling payroll questions, and completing any other tasks necessary for monitoring and overseeing a company s payroll process.
Job Responsibilities:
Processing of bi-weekly and semimonthly payroll for all divisions
Oversight of departments' time punches and time off notices (PTO- Paid Time Off) through the payroll system
Completing reconciliation of month and year-end close for Payroll
Ensuring compliance with company policies, relevant industry regulations, ta and deductions laws
Preparing payroll reports for management and auditing purposes
Reviewing computed wages to ensure accuracy
Preparing statements reflecting earnings, taxes, and deductions
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of Payroll experience Preferred
Good working knowledge of accounting practices and tax laws
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Experience working within a HRIS System, i.e. Paycom, Paycor, Fidelity, People Soft, ADP, etc.
Must have worked with a payroll size greater than 200 employees, including multi-state payrolls
