This payroll position offers a competitive wage of $20-$26/hour based on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PAYROLL AND BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR

As our Payroll and Benefits Administrator, you arrive each day determined to ensure that our employees are compensated properly, paid on time, and that related records are accurately kept. You are responsible for acquiring all necessary information to process payroll including reviewing time clocks, handling paid time off requests, reaching out to supervisors to clear up discrepancies, applying appropriate deductions and credits, ensuring state and federal compliance, as well as maintaining necessary general ledger reports, payroll files, and audit documentation.

Additionally, you are responsible for processing all benefitenrollments including changes and terminations. You set up new hires with all the correct paperwork and verify that it is finalized. As our HR department's resident Payroll and Benefits specialist, you train new hires on those topics. You ensure that all employees are well-versed as to the benefits available to them and how to maximize them according to their own personal circumstances. You enjoy contributing to a fun and exciting work environment and assisting our team in their success.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of Payroll and Benefits experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Understanding of both state and federal labor laws
