The Payer Implementation Specialist will be responsible for managing Spring Health integrations and solutions with Health Plans and TPAs nationally. This position serves as the liaison between Payer accounts and Spring Health and is the point of contact for implementation, questions and issues related to the integration. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare payer processes, regulatory requirements, and the ability to collaborate across departments for effective execution and management. The Payer Implementation Specialist will report to the Director of Payer Revenue Programs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of Payer integrations.
  • Lead kickoff to launch implementation projects for new and expanding integrations, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Leverage payer expertise to analyze and interpret policies and procedures to guide implementation strategies.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to validate the functionality and integrity of the integration.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Customer, Spring Health and the Payer to facilitate successful integrations by ensuring claims are being accurately received and processed, and reconcile discrepancies that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless implementation and relationship management of a contract.
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with Billing and Benefits, Care Teams, Quality and Compliance teams to ensure access and cost transparency for members.
  • Build clear, repeatable processes that will set the team up for success at scale.

What we expect from you:

  • Proven experience in Payer Implementation or payer relations with a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful, on-time implementations and payer relationship development
  • Effective communication managing internal and external stakeholder relationships with accountability and collaboration
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

The target salary range for this position is $75,000 - $92,700, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
