As a member of the Societe Generale Client Management team, your goal will be to assist the GTPS Front Office sales team along with the respective GLBA (CORI/GLFI) and MARK bankers in relationship management activities focused on their portfolio of large corporate clients by providing consistent, high quality client service and support to achieve high client satisfaction and loyalty. The Implementation Specialist (IS) will gain exposure to Transaction Banking, Markets and product originations. The position will evolve to increased responsibility if warranted.
The IS will manage implementations and contact points to ensure the successful client implementation of US and/or International cash management solutions. To ensure products and services are delivered in a coordinated and timely manner to realize revenue, co-ordinate with stakeholders (including and not withstanding RMs, Product, Sales Managers, local implementation staff, Client Service centers, Compliance etc.) to deliver the solutions within the earliest possible time, enhance productivity and sustain high quality client-centric service culture.
In addition, the IS will ensure the Implementation and Post-Implementation processes are delivered on the objectives of the Bank and are best-in-class. He/she will manage the Customer Implementation in line with quality and time in order to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction as result. The candidate will report to the Implementation Manager within the team of the Head of Client Service and Sales Support (Middle Office).
Assist the Global Transaction & Payment Services (GTPS) Sales team with the on-boarding on new/existing client relationships, including but not limited to:
- Act as a dedicated IS with the client, sales/ FO team, Product Management, GLBA bankers, credit, risk and other business partners within Societe Generale
- Creates and maintains support documentation along with a bespoke project plan to ensure implementation of a new deal occurs in line with time, budget and quality expectations
- Manages and develops the implementation functions and on-boarding responsibilities in line with the Local and/or Regional implementation standards
- Creates and maintains required documentation/manuals to work towards standardizing implementation processes.
DIVISION DESCRIPTION:
Global Transaction Banking and Payment Services (GTPS) Americas is composed of three Business Lines: USD Cash Clearing Services, Payment and Cash Management Services and Trade Finance Services. GTPS provides corporate clients, financial institutions, Societe Generale entities and business lines with a wide range of payment products and services such as USD payments, corporate cash management services, check services, foreign exchange conversions and standby letter of guarantees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking or relevant field (MS/MBA a plus)
- Experience with lockbox, remote deposit capture, payment formats (ACH/wire)
- Technical skills to help clients on SWIFT, SFTP/host to host solutions, eBanking solutions preferred as this role will work with the international implementation teams in Paris on SwiftNet offers, etc.
- Six Sigma - Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation (not required but a plus)
- A Member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) - Certified Treasury Professional Designation (not required but a plus)
- Strong Transaction Banking background with at least 4 years of project management and client service experience with large companies (>$1bn sales) - able to navigate through a complex global organization and deal with senior management
- Proven ability to build and develop relationships with clients - a strong internal network will be critical to success
- Highly self-motivated to work independently and proactive approach with clients and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
- Broad financial services product knowledge across US and International cash management, Trade Products (including Commercial and Standby LC's), Operations/ Funds Control and FX
- Understanding of Compliance and KYC processes
