As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the patients’ first contact with our clinic. Our selection process will be based on the following skills and attributes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Scheduling patients, both by phone and walk-ins
• Assisting new patients with the completion of new patient documentation
• Collecting co-pays, co-insurances, and any other payments due
• Verifying and communicating patient insurance benefits
• Obtaining and monitoring insurance authorizations
• Following Medicare and HIPAA guidelines
• Maintaining files and electronic medical records
• Data entry and reviewing patient paperwork to ensure accuracy
• Laundry and light cleaning, maintaining a tidy reception area
• Must be available to work 36-40 hrs. per week. M-F

Qualifications and Skills

• High school or equivalent
• Prefer 1-2 years of relevant work experience, but not required
• VERY reliable and dependable, this is a must
• The ability to multi-task with a calm and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
